Auditions

Auditions for the 2017 Season will be held on Wednesday, January 4th at 7:00 PM at the Norfolk Public Library. 

To Prepare For Auditions

All boys and girls ages 12-18  are encouraged to audition! Audition applications, rehearsal and performance dates, and travel trip information will be available at the door. Prepare 36 measures of a "pop rock" style song that best shows off your voice. Please bring sheet music, an accompanist is provided. Also bring a resume with an attached 5X7 or 8X10 headshot. After the singing portion of the audition there will be a short dance audition so please come prepared and dressed to move! 

Callbacks:

We will be having call-backs immediately following the first round of auditions so please be prepared to stay for quite a while. If asked to stay for a call back you should be prepared to sing the following songs for the production staff:

Girls: "Proud Mary," "Let's Hear It For the Boy," and "Say Something."

Boys: "Man In the Mirror," "A Drop In The Ocean," and "Say Something."

 2017 Season Information:

Our travel performance will take place the week of July 1st- July 6th. All cast members are required to attend the travel performance. To ask about pricing and information contact director/manager send us your questions through the "Contact Us" page.

Rehearsals:

We will have our first rehearsal/parent meeting on January 15th 2017. Full rehearsal schedules, scripts, rehearsal CDs, contracts, travel trip information, and costume forms will be distributed then. We will not begin the rest of our rehearsals until March 25th 2016. We will be having fundraisers and "cast bonding" events throughout the year. 

 Rehearsals are held on Saturday's March-June in Norfolk, Ma and one week day to be determined in Rhode Island. Copies of our entire rehearsal schedule for the season will be available to view at auditions. Our performances are held on weekends in June as well as our travel trip the week of July 1st-July 6th. 

 

  

Fundraisers and community service events are mandatory for cast members and will be held a few times throughout the season. All fundraising we do will go towards paying for our travel performance.

There is a $120.00 production fee that covers the cost of uniforms, sound equipment, rehearsal space rentals, music, and stationary. Payment plans for this fee and trip payments can be set up upon request. If this is a financial burden please contact us, we would never want to turn away someones talent because of financial purposes.
